Leticia Gonzalez joined the Fresno Building Healthy Communities team in 2022 as a Community Health Worker and has since been promoted to our Community Engagement Coordinator.

Fresno has been Leticias home since she and her family immigrated from Guanajuato, Mexico. She is proud to be a part of an organization that is working to make Fresno a better place for her children and future generations.

Leticia is passionate about her community and has over six years of experience working with low-income Spanish-speaking families in Fresno.

Currently a student at Fresno Pacific University, she is in her third year of earning her bachelor’s degree in social work. Leticia's goals in social work include helping families in need and those particularly involved in domestic violence. She will have her degree by 2024.

In her spare time, Leticia enjoys spending time with her husband (her high school sweetheart) and their three children, and their dog Mickey.
