Silvia Palomares joined the Fresno Building Healthy Communities in 2022 as a Community Health Worker.

Silvia is an immigrant from Mexico, was raised in Fresno, and graduated from McLane High School. Silvia has firsthand experiences that give her the understating of the inequities many people in our communities face. Silvia is passionate about creating access to valuable resources in our community and lifting up our most vulnerable who need those resources the most.

In her spare time, Silvia enjoys working outside and loves to get her hands dirty. She has a passion for anything construction and loves to build with her hands. Silvia is also a proud blood donor since 2009.
