Jessica Martinez Hernandez
Jessica joined Fresno Building Healthy Communities in 2020, initially working as a Community Health Worker under the COVID-19 Equity Project team. Jessica has a passion for advocacy and bringing voices to those who need it most. She takes pride in helping our community members who need it most and hopes that she can make a difference in their lives.
In 2021, Jessica served as one of our Lead Community Health Workers, leading a team of Community Health Workers focusing on keeping students and their families safe by carrying out Contact Tracing efforts in partnership with Fresno Unified School District. In 2022, Jessica was promoted and now serves as a Project Manager, leading our Housing, Economic, and Land Use work.
Jessica graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a B.A. in Legal Studies. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys hiking, biking, and taking long runs.
